Recently I've been getting a number of request for ppl to build and maintain their financial models. Mostly smaller developers that either don't have someone in house, or their in house person isn't good. My question is what do you think is a reasonable price for the service, assuming a basic capital stack and simple waterfall structure.
Under either: They provide the model, which we all know will require modifications:
They don't provide the model, usually I'll have something I can pull from.
In the past I've charged people $2,500 to $10,000, depending on how much I want to work with them, or the project size. Recently, I proposed $1,000 on a $20mm deal and the guy was asking for a discount on future deals.
All the requests I get are for development, no existing assets.
