From my understanding accelerated FT 2018 recruiting will start with info sessions in the next 2-3 weeks. First round interviews will subsequently be 2 or so weeks after those info sessions.
Thank you for your reply goosebanker , can you please shed some more light on this? So, people will start getting interview calls in the next 2-3 weeks from BB's?
Have you applied for any banks as of now?

Hey so I'm not 100% sure how the process works, but I have some close friends interning at some BBs in NY right now and they all tell me that FT accelerated recruiting will start in the next 2 or so weeks for their BB. Keep in mind this is the accelerated FT for target schools. From what they tell me, the banks will host FT recruiting information and networking sessions within the next 2 or so weeks. From what I hear, the banks will go to target schools or reach out to good candidates, or you will be invited if you have connections. To my knowledge, it is an invite-only event. 2-3 weeks after that, they will have first round interviews for FT based on the candidates they liked from the recruiting sessions or if you have connections / network well. From my understanding, FT offers will also be given out before the end of July. Hope this helps

Yes if you're a non-target you're going to have to network well and make good connections to be invited to these networking sessions. And I'm not sure if this is applicable to other states, just for sure this is the process for the NY BBs my friends are at
