Fixed Income Career Path?

I'm in the process for several buyside FI funds including HFs and I wanted to get some additional insight on what a typical career in buyside FI looks like. Is it just Analyst --> PM in ~8 years?


Also, would really appreciate if anyone has any useful FI interview guides. I feel like I have the basics down but still don't have too much depth in knowledge
