Flow traders aptitude test

I recently took the flow traders mental math test (75Q in 10 mins). I passed through that math test and I have an aptitude test scheduled for this Friday. The mail I received says this test will contain mental math test, sequences, verbal analogies, syllogisms. Anyone has taken this test and can share the experience and what questions I can expect and what I should prepare for it?

Thank you WSO.

Depends on your preparation honestly !! I'll recommend you a couple of sites , check them out if you have'nt. 1. Arithmetic Zetamac:- Anything above 60 in basic settings is decent. 2. MathTrainer.org:- try to reach level 90 or 91 with decent speeds (around 50-60) on an average, after that level , it's beyond the scope of the test. 3. rankyourbrain:- good for practicing decimals There are a few apps too you can try them out.

If you have the time go through Arthur Benjamin's book secret to mental math's initial few chapters. It's a good read on how to deconstruct problems. Tip- Memorize basic fractions like 1/6 ,1/8etc as it helps . I'm assuming you already know about the format :- easy medium and difficult (25 questions each ) with negative marking for incorrect and unattempted. The third section is "Guesstimation " where you'll have MCQs, but still you'll have to calculate to some extent.

I hope this answers everything. All the best :)

Hey Vishwas-Maheshwari is it that the easy section has all (single digit ) +/-/*// questions , medium ones are double digit and difficult ones are 3 or more digits ?? And is it that only Difficult ones have MCQ's and others don't ?

TIA
