Factors to consider:

No harm in sending thank you emails (unless you have grammatical errors, but please don't).
Some bankers may be anticipating for them, and/or other interviewees sent them so it looks slightly bad if you don't.

This is from my PERSONAL experience from interviews (Canadian banks):

I have landed three banking internships and I have not sent thank you emails for any of those three.
Every time I got a reply from a thank you email, I moved onto the next round.
Every time I did not get a reply, I was dinged.

I don't have a preference on whether you should or not, but it's safer to send one.
