Fraternities?
Hi,
I'm highly considering attending Penn State for the Nittany Lion Fund. I was just wondering if anyone could say how important fraternities are in the whole recruiting process. I would love to go greek but since it is Penn State I am also worried about not dying.
Thanks in advance
As a student, I would say that a fraternity IN ADDITION TO GOOD CLUBS/ACADEMICS should be a nice thing to add to your resume. It shows you're likeable, social, and can function in all types of loud and rowdy environments
I know quite a few people in fraternities who got interviews because of people in their fraternity working at the places they applied. It shouldn't hurt to be in one
To get into a fraternity, you have to be social, likeable, able to hold a conversation, be memorable, and be somewhat normal. Coincidentally, these are the same skills you need to get a job and network in life.
