let's say I take a position as broker at firm to break into the industry and get my Series 7 and 63 licenses,and then later on move into the IBD of the firm or at another firm after having gained some experience in the industry or are you just destined to be a broker for the rest of your life??.

Anything is possible, doesn't mean it's likely, you could try and move to PWM to a T25 MBA and try and position yourself for it. Networking certainly helps.
It's definitely possible, but I wouldn't make it your first choice. There's no one path to IB. You're not going pick up valuation and financial modeling skills as a broker but you can always practice on the side. If you truly want to break into IB, I would recommend applying to a boutique, there are hundreds of them. You'll pick up a better skillset and have a better chance of lateraling to a better firm. As a second choice after IB, I would also recommend checking out valuation jobs, Big 4, D&P, and other valuation shops.

Very tough without the right person pulling for you and even then, highly unlikely. Also, if you go into a "broker" role with the attitude of immediately getting out, you're likely to find yourself out of a job before you make the necessary contacts for a move.
