From science into finance

I am in the EU and currently doing a masters in biotechnology and I have done a bachelors in biochemistry (GPA 3.8) with a minor in business economics. I also have a year of experience in biomedical research.

As relevant coursework, I have taken accounting, corporate finance and some business economics and econometrics courses (and will take more throughout the masters). I have also taken a few online courses in finance.

How do I break into finance from here? Do I have any chance at all to break into finance?
My end goal is to work in biotech VC but I am not sure how realistic this is. I plan on doing an internship in finance next year but what should I aim for? Is biotech equity research feasible for me?

I am also considering doing a second masters in finance.

You should be cold emailing every healthcare/biotech IB firm you can find. With a 3.8 you can definitely sell yourself, and these firms often appreciate a science background if you can articulate your interest in finance.
