FT Start Date Delayed - Training??

A little background, I was expecting to start FT at a MM in July, but recently reached out to HR and was told that my start date will be delayed until the end of August/early September. Kind of sucks, as I was planning on traveling most of May and June and then starting in July. Now I'm going to have at least another two months of straight chillin.

I thought I'd use the months before to get some training in so I can hit the ground running whenever I do actually start. The firm has a training program, but isn't allowing me to start it until I officially start working. I was leaning more towards the CFI Analyst program but wanted to get some opinions, as well as hear what other incoming FT'ers are doing.

Also want to note that I could care less about the certification/prestige, just looking to fine-tune some excel and modeling skills
