What are the usual drivers for the gaming industry in Macau and Asia in general? And what are the typical financial metrics most often used by analysts to compare between different casinos? It seems like a lot has to do with macro factors. Would appreciate if someone could help me figure out what I should be looking at and maybe more importantly what is often looked at but is not as important as people make it out to be.

Typical drivers would be drop amount (money exchanged for chips), hold % (amount left when chips are cashed out) and net casino sales (net win by the casino). There are also other factors like regulations, revenue cap., opening hours, staff employment, number of tables allowed etc.
