Gap Semester Recruiting Shift

There's a good chance that I take a gap semester this fall given the current situation with COVID. This would shift my graduation date to December 2022 instead of May 2022. Does this still allow me to apply for 2022 IB Summer Analyst positions next summer?

Right, but if you land a SA 21 internship the bank is expecting you to stay on. If you do SA 21 and 22 you'll prob burn those bridges

hey, feel free to PM me. I was class 2021, but had a to take gap semester due to personal reasons. now I am graduating Dec. 2021, but it gave me the opportunity to really figure out what I wanted to do after college. as a result, I learned a lot more about investment banking and now will be a summer analyst at EB next summer. don’t worry about semester off as if anything gives you longer to prep, network, and figure out what you wanna do!
