Gauging boutiques and middle market groups
Currently a sophomore without any offers at wharton and as many of the BBs have finished recruiting I'm now looking at smaller firms for summer internships. If anyone has a list of boutiques/mid-markets that are known to offer sophomores internships whether officially or internally, I would appreciate if you could link me. I checked past discussions and found out how to search for companies to reach out to, but how does one go about gauging which ones are better compared to the others?
Depends on the region you want to work in. Most places you can google to find a list of boutiques - then if you want to gauge the companies look at who has previously interned there on LinkedIn and where they are at now.
If you plan to work in NYC for the summer, I have friends who worked at Stifel for their sophomore summers.

This site has lists by city and state. These are probably the more obscure middle market banks.
Since it's two years later, may I ask where you ended up? Did you receive a solid FT offer?
