Getting into investment banking 2 years after graduating?

Since graduating last September I have worked in consulting and most recently I have done an investment banking internship at an elite boutique.

I am struggling to leverage this internship into a full time position in investment banking.

My plan is to work in an unrelated field for a year before trying again to get into investment banking.

My question is, do banks consider people who have graduated 2 years ago for an internship or an analyst role?

Curious about this "elite" boutique, and how you got that gig. Student here, and just generally curious about the process you underwent.

Just an Undergrad trying to get a job. Something you disagree or dislike about my posts? Let me know by PM'ing me or commenting constructive criticism.
