I'm currently an analyst at a retail / commercial bank in London, working in real estate finance. I have 2+ years experience in this, mainly structuring mezz and senior debt in developments and commercial. I graduated in 2018 from a UK target, studying RE. In terms of strict finance modules, not many, maybe 1/5. Looking to get some solid advice on how I can try to make the move to work in the likes of IB RE. I'm currently about half way through the CFI modelling course, just to make sure my modelling is as clean as it can be. Had some advice from some friends in consulting who think CFA would be a good idea, but I'm not sure on that to be honest. Have also been told RICS would be useful, again not so sure. Any advice welcome.
