Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Real Estate Division Details?
So if some of you don't know yet, Goldman Sachs just opened up their applications for full time and internship positions for Summer 2021. I am interested in their Merchant Banking Division, specifically real estate investing/asset management. Does anybody know what comp,work hours,RE product focus,day-to-day duties, etc.is like in that division?

I wouldn't spend too long on the gathering intel phase, applications opened 12 days ago and it's rolling recruitment. There are other very recent threads on these divisions available on here, I would scan those and bang in your 300 words on why you want the job ASAP. You haven't missed the boat but don't hang around.

Also, if anyone could shed a little light on the difference between AIMS RE and MBD RE that would be helpful. I know generally AIMS is more FoF and MBD does more balance sheet investing, but some specific details on MBD would be very helpful to me. Thanks!
