Gordon Dyal & Co
Can anybody provide more color on the firm? I know they are in the process of hiring some juniors right now it seems. I've seen the prior articles here but not much actual detail on what the comp is and what the experience is like. Anybody with experience or knowledge here please weigh in!

If you had to guess what is typical associate 1 pay? Everyone says they pay extremely well but no clue what that actually means
Literally no one knows unless you work there, but I’m sure they pay well above street. Maybe $350k+ cash as Aso1 comp, but who knows. They’re like 15 people or something, including Dyal himself, and they’ve been on multiple multi-billiom dollar deals over the last few years. For example, they were the sole advisor to BMS in their $13bn acquisition of MyoKardia, so there is certainly money to go around based on the fees and almost zero overhead.
Extreme sweatshop (literally 9-4am) but amazing pay
How does comp compare to CVP?
Pay on par if not better
Way more than cvp

Where would you peg associate 1 compensation based on that then?
Any idea how M. Klein compares?
I'd assume very similar but looking for concrete numbers too
Where did you see that they are hiring?
That's awesome, what kind of deal fees are they generating for the ~15 person group?
Extremely bad hours from what I heard.
Yup 7 days a week 9am - 3/5am. Pay is insane tho like INSANE. You get a bonus per deal you close too
You get a bonus per closed deal? I've never heard of that for juniors before
