Got an offer from WF. Is it that bad? Seems like an awesome place please give your opinions

I was stoked about this offer but seeing this forum shit on it pretty hard has me second guessing if it is the right move. Is it that bad? They have been growing, very nice comp, have new management, and it really seems like they're going in the right direction? What do you guys think about WF and why do some of you hate it so much?

Have you worked or even interned there? Or is this just another, "stupid kids don't know what they are talking about". The negative feedback on this forum regarding WF is not something similar to like UBS or DB where most of the feedback is people ignorantly complaining about being a borderline BB. For WF, it's about their very low return offer rates (roughly 75%), horrible placement day process, and sweaty culture in certain groups.

They were T10 in league tables last year for IB revenue. Getting an offer at any respectable investment bank is a huge accomplishment. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. WF is still growing into itself when it comes to IB, but doesn’t mean it is a bad place to be. People (kids) here hate it because WF does more financing than M&A and the consensus here is that M&A is the only worthwhile product in banking. You’ll notice people with ‘Prospect’ next to their name have a bad opinion and those in the field don’t get triggered over it.

Once again, people foolishly caring more about titles than the actual advice itself. I don't accurately update my title just so people like you can continue to think like this. WF is not a place I would recommend to any of my peers.
