GPA for Growth/Later stage VC Recruiting?
Assuming you are coming from a top BB, how much does GPA matter for these roles post banking. Is a 3.6 adequate to get looks at good funds?

What type of school did you go to? HYPS? Non-target? Easier to answer with that knowledge. As a general rule, growth and VC tends to place a much higher premium on undergraduate school than buyout PE
Interesting - because of the sourcing aspect?
Yes, and growth and VC tend to be more about "thinking about the company" whatever that means. Its not necessarily fair, but that just how it happens. If you're at a good bank and group then I'd recommend going for buyout PE first then make the move to earlier stage; by that point your school will matter a lot less
