Guggenheim NYC: updated reputation, culture, exits

Hey, I've done a good amount of searching regarding Guggenheim's rep, prestige, culture, and exits, but I see a lot of older threads/information and dissenting viewpoints.

I do hear, however, that it's growing quite fast. Does anyone have an updated/recent view on their exits and culture? Had a super with them a few days ago.

Thanks.

Not a MM. This guy's an idiot. What type of MM bank does Disney/Fox, Reuters/BX, all Verizon and Pfizer deals? Have placed only a few into MFs, but MM PE is getting more common. It's a new bank so historically the exits weren't great but they're definitely better now

At a target school for gugg, they have already given out offers for kids they want for summer 2019

Don’t know that much about the firm, but seems like their exits have really been improving the past few years...when they came to present they listed places like Carlyle, Silver Lake, HIG, General Atlantic and Siris as some recent exits....it will be interesting to see where people leave for this summer

would be interested if others think the exits are going to keep getting better or if anyone has better insight

Can't speak from experience, but my school has a fairly large Gugg presence and people seem to love the culture from what I have heard, especially the intern program with tons of events for analysts and interns over the summer. They also talk a lot about how open it is, with senior bankers willing to go to bat for analysts for exits and being generally open to talking with junior members...Could be wrong, but that is what I have heard, although I am sure it is group dependent as well

I wil always hold it in high regard for the six figure stripper bill.
