You could get a transfer to Toronto and then get back to the US on the L visa or, if all requirements are met, try the E visa.
Or you could enter another degree on F1, jobs within research/development, universities, non-profits and similar should be cap exempt on H.
Whatever you do, please try to avoid Day1-OPT.
 

L1 is not a slam dunk by any means, btw

 

Stop spreading false info, stem opt is based on your college major. If you’re a finance/history/etc major you only get year worth of Opt, some master of finance programs are stem certified but as far as undergrad finance goes it’s almost always non-stem.

 

Next year might be based on prevailing wages instead of a lottery system, which could be really good/bad for IB analysts depending on what the new levels of prevailing wages end up being
