2 (or 3, cant remember) weeks, value a company that you're assigned, present at the end to Associates and VPs.

its a 2 week program. you learn various parts of the deal process in the mornings and then get assignments for the afternoons/evenings. it's meant to imitate the analyst experience so all-in expect to work 90-100 hours for each of the weeks there.

great opportunity to learn a lot before a traditional 10 week sa position and they make offers out of the bootcamp

In addition to the above, the position is paid (albeit two weeks is only so much pay) and I believe they also cover your housing for the two weeks. It's just another recruiting tool Harris Williams uses to get to know candidates in addition to the standard SA gig. Only been around for a few years though -- relatively new.

Didn't get accepted, saw the listing on my school's OCR and was curious if anyone had anything to say about it.

Michael ScarnWait, so is this something for FT or SA?
What are you asking? They do give FT offers out of the Boot Camp...as mentioned above.

Hi guys, I am gonna have a phone interview with one of HW&Co. HRs for a lateral hire. Do you know what to expect? She just said that we are gonna talk about my background etc...

Thanks

I'm grateful that I have two middle fingers, I only wish I had more.

A friend at my school did it last summer. I do know they mainly recruit at the top southern schools for the program (Vanderbilt and UVA, I know for sure; I forgot what other schools he mentioned, but probably Duke as well) given their location in Richmond, and take about 10-20 kids into the program. It's a pretty intense two weeks, but better than a full summer in banking. I think about 60% got offers to come back full time.

They recruit largely from UVA, W&L, UNC, Vandy for the Boot Camp. Roughly 12 seats available for 2 weeks in May. It is paid and the firm provides housing...offer is possible at the end of the program which is sweet if you have another SA gig during the summer.

Also, for information about the program itself, the program is a 2-week mock M&A sell-side transaction. You learn the process from start to finish and it is also a way to judge fit for a potential offer.

Good luck!
