Harvard Extension School

Current high school student who is interested in attending a university for a couple years and then I want to transfer into Harvard Extension School. I just have a few questions

  1. Do employers look down because it isn't Harvard College?

  2. Do you have access to networking events and facilities?

  3. Is there decent on campus recruiting for NYC EB IB?

  4. Will I be eligible to apply even though I'm under 21?

I'm willing to put myself through college by working as an admin assistant at Harvard so that I can take advantage of Tuition Assitance Program. I want to do all of this so that I can get the brand name of Harvard and I don't have to force my parents to pay >30k in tuition for the remote isn't institutions.

HES is not a real school.. I think at most you can take night classes or a few certificate courses. There are no admissions requirements except passing an intro class, an essay (not sure if they still have that?) and paying the fee. No OCR.

Yes employers look down on it. Transfer to a regular four year school.

Recently had someon lie and say they attending Harvard but did not add the extension. I went to a target UG, target MSF and Emba.

HES is not Harvard just like Harvard opm is not hbs regardless of alumni status. The standards are signigantly lower and being a celebrity who attends the opm cash cow of Harvard does not make you an hbs alum. Many individuals flaunt the Harvard alumni status but they did not go to Harvard which is highly misleading and turn me off.

Do not waste your money on the HBX, opm, hes, or other programs they are complete dog crap. Just my two cents as I fee Harvard’s is just trying to make money of people.

Go to a traditional 4 year if you are in NYC you have many options. To go into IB for HES is not a realistic goal.
