Harvard/Wharton/Penn Chances?

Looking for opinions on my chances at the top 3 business schools

3.8 GPA Environmental Economics & Policy from UC Berkeley, including A+ on Senior Thesis
740 on GMAT
3 years of work experience at a boutique economic consulting firm focusing on energy/utilties
Played goalie on the club ice hockey team at Cal
Played guitar in the jazz program at cal
Volunteer, fund-raise and participate in a number of charity bike rides

Most important question: what kind of leadership have you shown on your job? Any career progression? Cal is a great school (up the street from me), but all I can see is that you have the ball over the net in terms of numbers. Goalie, jazz band, great, but they aren't going to get you in.

The rest is up to how you show up in life, on the job, and why would someone want to bet on you to be one of the movers and shakers of tomorrow?

Betsy Massar Come see me at my Q&A thread http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/b-school-qa-w-betsy-massar-of-master-admissions Ask away!

You have a joint probability of 28.72% of gaining admission to at least one of the schools.
2! / (1!(2-1)! * .105^1 (1-.105)^(2-1) = .1879

I got 18.8% bro. Looks like we used different equations.

I have a proprietary multi-factor model. I can license it to you for the right price though. I can license per hour/per user or on a continuous basis with unique, finger print based log-in technology. It's web enabled, so you can access it from anywhere. Let me know.

Please be advised I must touch base with my accountant to see if I have the sufficient funds to allocate for your avant-garde program.
