can you give any details? I'm at a BB and haven't heard anything but have seen they're apparently raising salaries...
I’m an incoming A1 (starting soon) and HR called me a few days ago to notify me of the bump.
We got an official document amending the salary section of the contract.
Also would love to know - incoming analyst at BB and have not heard if salary is being adjusted. Is it better to wait and maybe reach out to HR?

Probably, they'll email us if there is a bump or you'll just start on your original offer.
I can’t imagine a company would increase A1 pay and then not apply it to their incoming class. That doesn’t make any sense lol

At an MM, I've seen rumors of a rather large bump around WSO but nothing confirmed yet. I'll be losing my mind until I see it in writing
Same I hate to say it, but it's kind of all I can think about. The raise would definitely be great when apartment hunting and/or just be good for the quality of life stuff.
For context I believe I joined a banking program the last time there were major salary bumps (I think this was around 2014/2015 when salaries went from 70k to 85k or something like that at the major BBs). HR sent us like an updated addendum to our offer letter saying the salary would now be 90k or whatever it was to account for the streetwide bumps
I'm at a bank that apparently confirmed raises (no incoming has heard anything so far though), I'm in the private equity arm of my bank so do you think the raise will apply to me or am I just gonna have to take the 85 (which I'm still thankful for)?
Idk but I think if you may ask they may lift. I think they like to keep things standardized to the extent possible
