Having both a consultancy agreement and employment agreement at once with two different financial institutions
Let's say I have a consultancy agreement in place with company X (I provide financial advisory, I get paid for my services until it is required and stated on the contract)
--> SELF-EMPLOYED
&
Let's say I have also a standard employment agreement in place with company Y
--> EMPLOYED
Both X and Y are financial services companies and might be classified as competitors. Would I be able to work for both, at the same time? Would it be considered a conflict of interest if I do not disclose? As disclosing might result in the loss of one of the contracts. Thanks
Idk about smaller places, but in a BB it wouldn't be possible. You need to disclose any outside activity (even charities/volunteering), and for sure they wouldn't allow you to work for a competitor at the same time. Also, how do you plan to work 80-100h while doing extra consultancy work on top of that?
