Help Deciding Between Offers

I'm trying to decide between multiple summer internship offers. Some background:

Rising junior at top target in US. Currently in large European city. Hoping to spend my sophomore summer doing something that will prepare me for OCR and junior summer gig in NYC. I have five offers, two from BB's, two from major European banks, and one from a national bank.

1) BB Treasury (markets, s&t): Small group, but reputable for S&T 2) BB Corporate banking: Again, rather small. Would be analyzing local companies. 3) ING Treasury (transfer to wealth management possible) 4) HSBC Treasury Research 5) Local bank IB (transfer to PE possible): biggest investment bank and top national bank in the country, but virtually unknown abroad.

I'd very much appreciate advice from more experienced users, but welcome all input. Thank you.

The difference between successful people and others is largely a habit - a controlled habit of doing every task better, faster and more efficiently.

It's the second largest private bank in the country with $100 bn in assets, offering full line of services. I don't want to get too specific but as you can tell from the numbers, it's not a major market, though an emerging one. Not sure about people in the industry, but I don't believe anyone without exposure to the country would recognize the name. It doesn't even come up in search results. That's why I'm leaning more towards the BB's.

As for trading vs ibanking, I can honestly say I'm open to either experience at this point. I'm not sure how the limited size of the market should affect my decision.

what would you be doing at corporate banking? i mean, since it is a small group, could it be a good networking chance? would you be exposed to top clients?

btw is it DB?
