Throwaway account, long-time poster. Seeking West-LA based development analyst to join a new boutique investment shop (one year old, two principals) that already has an active development pipeline of $450M+ in two US gateway markets. Primarily multifamily, but includes office and retail as well. Must have at least one year of relevant financial analyst experience (investment banking, real estate finance, etc). Modeling test will be administered as part of interview process. Competitive compensation.
This is an opportunity to be the third hire at a shop that has built an institutionally-sized development pipeline in less than 12 months, backed by a bench of 3+ limited partner groups. Job will include traditional analyst responsibilities (market research, PPM preparation, underwriting), but also a lot of development project management including property DD, entitlements, architectural design, construction feasibility/pricing, financing, book-keeping/accounting, etc.
We are also looking for an Assistant Development Manager-level role to do all of the above at a higher experience level, also competitive comp.
