Hollywood wants to play money manager and redistribute your earnings

Posing a question to WSO: what do you do when Hollywood has everyone complaining about, "rich people" getting rid of jobs and keeping all of the money to themselves? We're going to become a socialist country along the road we're currently headed.

There are a few immediate issues with our current economic system that have not been addressed:

  1. They're not lying about keeping money to themselves, because most wealth creation has occurred in stock and real estate asset prices--almost all of it owned by the top 20%--which has always been true but the gap has grown.

  2. You could see the gap occurring when sweatpants and hoodie wearing nerds moved into San Francisco out of the garages, all on investor's prayers, who funded millions in paper to get start-ups off the ground, while low income earners lost their homes (these are your liberals btw).

  3. We have a very messed up trade dynamic, because China keeps the American currency strong, while sucking up all of the free dollars, lowering savings and hurting producers and households.

  4. We have low interest rates, a massive Fed balance sheet, and we just passed "the most historic" tax reform plan, already, but still have huge economic issues for the middle class.

  5. People don't care where and what the real problems are, as long as they can get pissed at bankers, politicians, and just generally, "the rich".

I'm sick of getting into conversations with those who just go, "New York is so expensive because the rich came here". Yes, that's the problem on the surface, but it's also deeper than that.

Have an angry mob burn down and forcibly take all of the property of all the rich, hollywood celebrities. Once Leo gets dragged from his mansion by his hair and everything he has "worked" for has been taken, you can be sure the cries for socialism will dry up fast.

Socialism will not take hold in the USA. Fascism will. Socialism is the government taking ever more from its citizens and growing government bigger. The USA is the most militant country outside of North Korea. All these celebrity idiots think we will become some Godzilla size Sweden, when in reality we will become more in line with China or the Soviet Union.

I mean we have a fully militarized police state, which grew under Obama and is growing under Trump. We have a military deployed around the world. We obviously don't give a shit about the poor people in this country as we actively allow and encourage poor people from around the world to come.

These celebrities should just move to Sweden or something, which is already a pacifist little socialist country. Because the money hungry titan that is American isn't going to start giving a shit about anyone over night.

More taxes - more military spending, more police, less freedom. Which in reality is what these celebrities want. Because you can guarantee they have accountants hiding their money, are paying people dirt wages and otherwise living a life that is visibly counter to what Socialism is all about.

Yeah, I do see some crazy shit happening at this country's current pace. Even the macho Joe Rogan loves to spew the narrative And in the midterms some of those currently running look to be some of the most outwardly crazies. I know to keep it in perspective, given the minority, but there are some seriously bad elements, not to reduce Bernie Sanders.
