How do I move from Commercial Banking to IB?

Hello everyone so seeking some advice on how to best proceed. Currently have been at a top BB in NYC as an associate in commercial banking for less than a year and would like to make the move to IB. Don't really have a preference on the "pedigree" or lack there of, just something within the top 50 or so banks. Most of my deals have been for companies with revenues in the 300mm-1.5bn range and also have 63/79/SIE licenses and can model so no real issues there. How do I make the jump to IB from my current role, I'm not opposed to moving internally but feel that doing so may burn bridges/backfire and take longer than looking to make a lateral jump somewhere.

Background

3+ years experience at 2 of the top 5 BBs

URM if that matters lol

3.8 GPA from non-target
