How do I raise capital for residential real estate property investments, and what jobs can I get with my degree?

I have recently graduated college with my associates degree in business. I want to get a job in finance. It could be retail finance (working for a retail bank like BB&T) or it could be something else. I am not sure what finance jobs I can get with an associates degree in business.

The end goal is to start my own residential real estate leasing company. What is the best way to go about doing that because I need excessive amounts of capital to buy houses. I could use crowdfunding as one method, but I am not educated n how that process works, and many real estate crowdfunding websites don't do residential real estate.

What do I do?

Funny... In all fairness, there are some guys on bigger pockets are living a very good and entrepreneurial lives. (Not sure why I felt the visceral/knee-jerk need to defend Bigger Pockets. Ha)
