Here is someone who got sick internships after 1st year, and doesn't come from a quote on quote well-connected, wealthy family. Don't usually people get those pedestal brand name firm internships after 3rd year when the firm comes on campus and actually recruits.

From a simple numbers perspective, getting one of these internships is more common than a front-office, revenue generating position.
