How do retired prop traders return to institutional career at a pod shop hedge fund?

Was an investment bank prop trader who retired 10 year ago, and now wants to return to the market, how should i go about it?

I prop traded at a bank for about 5 years and did ok (+10mm and +20mm last 2 years), but got let go in a management shakeup.  Have been out of the workforce now for 10 years, taking care of family.

Don't have a network to tap into, and have spent most of my savings.  I'm now trading in a pa started with only 30k...have gotten that up to 50k over last couple months trading futures and options on futures (not scalping, but capturing intraday moves that last a couple hours).  Risk metrics / drawdowns are good....just need to be managing more capital.  Strategy is not automated, but not fully manual...its a combo...all in futures.

How long do i need to build up a recent track record to prove that i've "still got it" so that a fund will give me a shot in a seat at a pod fund?
