How much does a GPA really matter?
Hi guys,
I already read old threads on this topic, but how much does a GPA really matter? (for IB, PE; Top Tier)
Based on threads from 2014, I got the feeling, that to be competitive you need at least a GPA of 3.7. However, I have spoken to a friend of mine who had a 3.2, who got into MCKinsey and converted to General Atlantic (about 3 months later).
Therefore I was wondering, is a GPA really that essential or do banks look more on internships? Unfortunately, mine most recent (Raymond James) got cancelled due to Covid19 but I was wondering if there still possibilities to get into a BB or EB?
Would be happy to hear your thoughts!
