How much is excel worth to you?

Very little. There are open source software that look exactly like excel (have same formulas, syntax, shortcuts). i would never use the open source software, but if i were FORCED to pay for excel, this would def. come into play.

Most people won't pay for it much longer. Its going to be like how much would you pay for notepad? Nothing. The open source might suck now. But it will become more popular very soon in my opinion. The new generation is growing up collaborating on google docs and the spreadsheet application will just get better.
