How to decide what Area of Finance to Pursue your Career in & Accordinlgy Select B-Schools to do an MBA

I plan and wish to pursue my career in Finance as I have always had a keen interest in numbers and maths.
I plan to do my MBA in finance in 2021 most likely, but I haven't done a job or worked as a professional in any finance field/area.
I need help and guidance on how I can decide what area of finance (such as VC/PE/IB/Research... etc) I should focus on choosing to pursue my career in, and how I should accordingly choose the B-school to do my MBA from (does the area of finance I choose affect the B-schools I should opt for).
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
