How to I ask out this girl from a conservative family?

Michael Corleone: "I understand I've offended you by talking about your daughter. I offer you my apologies, I'm a stranger in this country, I don't know the customs very well. Let me say this, I meant no disrespect to you or her.

I am an American hiding in Sicily from the police of my country. My name is Michael. You can inform the police and make your fortune but then your daughter would lose a father rather than gain a husband. In any case, I want to meet your daughter. With your permission and under the supervision of your family. With all decorum. With all respect. I am an honorable man."

That should be all you need.

I thought women were great at detecting subtle signals of interest, it appears that myth is busted by your post.

Don't "ask out", if you haven't gotten the "vibe", then do not. Your best bet is getting drunk(not hey that's rape drunk), and try flirting with her. I mean your chances that she is gay run from 5%-15% depending on which study you believe. If she is not from NYC or LA then the chances are even lower. Am I insinuating that attraction is more fluid for women yes, anecdotally since they never make up their minds this makes perfect sense.

If she is from a conservative family then you're probably at best going to be a fling, better off going to a spot where the fish are.

Start talking about politics and then slowly move to asking her what she thinks of the gay people in San Francisco and the liberal gay culture there. If her view is liberal go for it if not maybe you have no chance.

JFC. Go to happy hour at a crowded bar, stand a little close due to "lack of space", and gauge how things go from there. If she's interested she'll pick up the sign, if she's not she'll crack a few jokes about how little room there is and you don't push it.

Also, if she has any sort of acrylic/gel nails there is ZERO chance she's into women and seeking female partners. Use your imagination to figure out why.

Yankee Doodle:
Conservative women are the best wife material because they'll have the strongest motherly instinct and to please you. ">WSO.

Got to say coming from a family of WASPs, this is not the general case. Loving...yes, but motherly is not a word I would use to describe any of my female relatives.

Maybe there are different strains, like the southern conservative, but here in the NE probably not.

Isabella-Ray:
I'm in last semester of my program at b school and met this girl here but she's from a very conservative family. Girl asking a girl out is not very common here and I'm afraid of inadvertently offending her (by asking) and losing her.

You know how to test this.

When you're hanging out alone one time just go to hug her goodbye and sneak in a neck kiss or two then lock eyes. If she likes you you'll totally just start making out right then. Its better than asking very pointed questions.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
