How will technology effect IB in the next 10 years and what skills can current graduates learn to be prepared?
The threat of automation has been disscussed already. I want't go throught that because part of it is intuitive. I am of course very interested in how technology will augment the field but am rather tired of the usage of generic buzz words such as machine learning or AI being used as sort of a general thematic change.
It would be very interesting to gauge from how specific applications ex: neural networks to improve recognition of common deal flow patterns, the usage of genetic algorithms.
Secondly, and even more importantly what skills can current graduates pick up to take benefits of these changes (which will take place no matter what).
