Watched the GameStop hearing -- the guy that made millions from the trade went to Stone Hill College (non-target), graduated during the financial crisis ('09), was unemployed for 2-years at one point and had to work at Mass Mutual. Props to him for making more than many of us ever will in our careers without a pedigreed backgrounds.

He seems like a pretty smart dude. In a lot of interviews, a lot of his friends and teachers were not surprised he was able to pull off something like this. Good on him. He deserved this dub.
I feel for all the people out there that don't get a shot at IB, finance or whatever because they didn't do the right things to break in.
If you think finance is the pinnacle of intelligence then I have some news for ya
There must be something more to his story. This guy seems too talented to have been unemployed and underemployed as much as he was.
Interesting side note is that he was a great athlete in college.

I don't think so. So many talented people slip through the cracks because of nepotism and general poor recruitment methods. He's just one of them.
A huge part of the story is that he graduated in 09. Even smart target grads had offers rescinded or didn't have spots to apply to in the first place
Yeah a 4:03 mile is no joke. But, to many with low 4:XX mile times, the main goal is 3:59 - too bad he never hit it and only got really close. 4:03 is amazingly good though.

He likes the stock
"Keith Gill said that he still believes GameStop's current price of roughly $45 a share undervalues the company. "I like the stock," he said."
