Got an offer for 200k base at a BB in nyc. For an ibanking role. Seemed kinda low. Whats say you??? Am i getting the run around?

I don't know of any BB which pays less than 250k for first year VP. Unless you're talking about S&T?
Yes, thats what I was afraid of. Possibly just a title bump but not salary.
Been hearing total comp is in the 300s range at this BB, but that also seems low for a VP.

in S&T VP standard is 200k base + bonus, and bonus is based on your P&L...so can be 0-1mm with lots of variation...but the avg bonus in the 200k-300k range
