IBD Summer associate after-tax pay?
I think the HR might have messed up and I have been underpaid over the summer. Does $4200 (after tax) every 2 weeks sound about right? BB NYC

Sounds like the opposite actually. Assuming 150k base and 26 pay periods, that comes out to $5769 pre-tax. 4500 after tax comes out to a 22% tax rate which doesn't make sense even if you were in a state with no income tax.
Sounds fine. That’s how much I got paid. You’ll get money back when you file your taxes next year.
Roughly how much did you get per paycheck over the summer, and then how much do you get back in tax returns?
Sounds about right. Mine was slightly higher (close to $4400 biweekly) but I was at EB.

Banking should be only slightly lower than this.
When I summered they took some out and put in a company sponsored 401(k). I didn’t end up signing with them so I got a check for the couple hundred bucks but had to pay penalty for early withdrawal smh
Was this Citi? When did you get the 401k back?
Not citi.
But got the check in the mail once the tax forms started coming in the mail
