IBD/AM Resume Review- Much Appreciated

I am currently a senior (undergrad) at a small-ish non-target (top 50 UG Business School) with no OCR and very little presence on Wall St.

I'm currently striking out with Asset Management/equity research/IBD firms and need some help with my resume. Feel free to tear it apart, as the career center at my school is garbage and has offered very little assistance.

Thanks.

You need to proofread, you spelled modeling, "modelling," you've got some random letters capitalized in the middle of sentences....I also agree with above poster that you need to quantify your internships.

Also as a senior in college no one will care about high school, regardless of prestige (although when I was interviewing/networking some people like to see the SAT scores).

Saying alot what the guys above are but still take a look.

If you're still in undergrad you definitely need to put your Education at the top of the page. Youve got good grades/aptitude and coursework and this is definitely more relevant than the combined 6 months worth of internships that you have had.

Also, beef up the work experience. "Qual and Quant research"... this is very generic. Dig deeper and give numbers. What was your impact??

Lastly and VERY important, the formating is sloppy. This may be a function of you uploading it but make sure bullets all line up. Keep it to one page, your in undergrad. I started in IBD and if you gave a MD a model or report that was inconsistent, you were definitely in the doghouse. You wont get in the door if they notice any of that.

As for "I want to work in AM, IBD, ST etc..." in your title. NEVER say all that in an interview. Resume's for these differ and theyll shoot you down. You have an AM background sort of but IBD doesnt look unreasonable. Idk if youll get anywhere with ST but that's not my field.

Goodluck.

Thanks guys...I'm going to edit and reformat and I will probably post the new edition for round two of revisions in the next few days. All of the input was very helpful.
