Industry term for small ass cities?
I'm writing my resume after my summer internship at the moment, and I did some work on some properties that are not in major cities (but still large properties $10m+). Is it called "tertiary markets"?
Here's my sentence:
• Assisted in creating CIMs for properties in tertiary markets by conducting research and analyzing demographic information
These cities are 10-30k pop. Not looking for "Town/village etc", something more investment-term like?
Why do you need to put where they were? Just put the # of deals and the dollar volume.
Because I can't fit the whole sentence in 1 line so I want to fully fill up 2 lines to be more efficient with my resume space. This point is currently at 1.5 lines.
Is that dumb? lol
Yes.
You’re welcome.
Wow I have no idea why I didn't think of that. Thank you
"Rural markets"
"Low density markets"
"Exurbs"
"Major Cities"
I'd be careful with this since that opens you up to LIHTC/NMTC financing, Op Zones, and potential EB5 capital structuring and if you were just doing a standard term loan/cmbs capital structuring not using those source of funds, you may want to steer clear of "rural" and "low density".
Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3
No need to specify the level of city. However, if you want to do so, I would just say non-institutional.
"Non-prestigious cities"
"Micropolitan Areas"
tertiary markets
monkey shit cities
Tertiary or Non-MSA is what we use
