Intern: Interviewer replied to Thank You Letter. Does this seem like a good chance for me?

So I interviewed with a recruiter for an internship at a major radio station in NYC . She replied to my first thank you letter I sent after our interview saying she was happy I am interested in the job and that she was excited to learn about my background. She also thanked me for allowing time to Speak with her because I had to move my schedule around to accommodate the schedule. However, I actually never got a chance to ask what was the next step in the interview process (or the timeframe I would hear back) so I had no idea of when I should follow back up and didn’t want to follow up too late or early. She said if I ever had any other questions, I have her email and I can just send her an email. I really want this opportunity. I took it upon myself to issue out another email with some additional facts about the company and how excited I would be to join the radio station in NYC (the typical follow up stuff) and then she replied again and said a hiring manager should contact me within a week and if not, I should reach back out to her and hopefully she can shuffle me around! Does this sound hopeful? I’m not going To email again until another week. I have been trying to get into this company for years.
