Internship in High-School

Hey guys, I have been interested in stocks and equity research since middle school. Right now, I am high school sophomore and I was interested if there is any possibility of getting a Hedge Fund internship over the summer? I would say that I am fairly knowledgable about stocks as I have devoted a lot of time to reading, stock analysis (both on demo and real accounts), I regularly attend a stock club at a local university (most people who attend it are working professionals) and I have started a finance club at my high school. I have also written an equity research report on Dollar General which I would be sending along with my CV.

However, is getting an internship even possible as a high schooler since those positions are highly coveted even by university students or would I just be wasting my time trying? And if it is possible, how should I search for the possible funds and approach them?

Hey, actually same! I'm heading into Junior year now and we have lots of similarities. I think if you want to get into a good college, maybe start your own "fund"? I recently founded my own investment club with a few of my friends and our parents+their close friends. I also just reached out to close connections to get an internship, but not at any sort of financial firm.

I would find head hunters on LinkedIn and email them your pitch and resume. Persistence is key!
