Interview purgatory
I had my second round interview with a hedge fund five weeks ago. I called my interviewer about three weeks ago to see if they were going to continue with my application. He responded that they wanted me for a final-round interview but because of certain scheduling difficulties and "many events happening in the market," they have not scheduled any final rounds yet.
Five weeks seems to be an awful long time between interviews. Is this normal for hedge funds? Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do at this point?
