Interview with partner

Hey guys,

I am interviewing in a small M&A boutique focused on cross-border transactions for a junior position. I already had 2 interviews:

1) with HR - more conversational and no technicals.

2) with one analyst and one associate - technicals and case study.

Next week I will have the last round of interviews with one of the partners. What should I expect? any tips?

thank you!

The hard part of the interview process was the second round that you passed.

The partner round is more getting to know you, making sure you’re not some awkward or anti-social oddball and getting a sense of your career aspirations.

Just act normal and engaging and you’ll be fine. I’d be shocked if a partner asked you anything technical.

In the same vein I had 2 interviews last week with a VP and analyst. VP one was pretty casual and so was the analyst one but that had a few technicals. Final interview coming up with an MD this week and I’m wondering what to expect.
