When short term bonds start selling faster than long term bonds then.... uh oh... we already have that... the end is near, and this huge ass deficit isn't helping.

well, i want to accuse you of copping out, but i can't really.
Things are certainly slowing down, especially in housing. Broader economy seems to be doing ok for the moment though.
overall economy will do fine until mid to late 2009.
the economy is performing above par right now, and will slow down certainly but it won't be like 2002. the 2008 presidential elections will give the economy a boast anyways.
