Is B-School the right Avenue of me?

I graduated about a year ago from a top 25 public university with a finance degree with a low GPA by finance standards (3.4). I am currently working in a finance leadership program within a Fortune 10 company. My goal is to get into banking and ultimately Private Equity. I am considering Business school to open the door but I have a few questions/concerns.

  1. Will they look at more than my gmat score in admission? like undergrad GPA/School?
  2. is it foolish to spend 150k between school and living expenses to get a job I have never worked in and am unsure if i will like it?
