Is Drinking Good or Bad for Your Network?

I've been told by many people that drinking with coworkers, or people in your network should be enjoyed with moderation or not at all, which makes sense because it is never good to be known as a sloppy drunk. But if the person you are trying to get close to is going balls the wall and is a party animal, is it okay to break that rule?

stay smart and classy every time you drink.. think about it this way, the guy who is an extreme party animal can only recollect few events from the night before. perception is reality, if you are able to make him think that you kept up with him the whole way when u actually just ended up babysitting your 2 drinks, you've won. personally im not a big drinker anymore.

Well uhhh, first you take the derivative and then you... Have a god damn drink and be social. I would be more worried about the physiological side effects of binge drinking while maintaining a high stress job with minimal sleep. It will age you.
