Is This Front Office Research?

I have an interview with a multi-family office with $10+ billion AUM. I'm just wondering if this role is front office? I understand family office investment analysts are sort of a jack of all trades when it comes to analyzing investments. I just don't want to take this job thinking I will get investing experience and end up being a fund of funds analyst.

Job description:

- Conduct analysis and execute projects for client portfolios (including issues ranging from investment management to wealth transfer to tax planning)

- Generate portfolio and wealth management presentations for existing clients and marketing presentations for prospective clients

- Assist in the due diligence and monitoring of investment managers (both traditional and alternative)

- Prepare reporting for internal meetings relating to clients, prospects, and investment managers

- Coordinate with senior team members to resolve complex client requests/issues

No, this is fund of fund. The give away is "due diligence and monitoring of investment managers".

The first bullet point is all jargon, but I assume the "investment management" part means a client decides to hand us another $100m so how do we allocate that among existing or new portfolio managers. There doesn't seem to be any front office research aspect.
